A conveyor belt can also be fitted with wave profiles. These serve to allow the product to land gently. Wave profiles break the fall of the product, preventing possible damage to it.

This solution is often used in the fruit and vegetable processing industry.

The wave profiles can be made out of PVC and PU. The PVC version is available in 2-mm thickness and comes in green, white (FDA) and blue (FDA).

The PU version is now available in blue without a woven fabric carcass. This provides the perfect solution in view of the increasingly strict laws and regulations concerning hygiene in the food industry. The wave profiles come in thicknesses of 1, 1.5 and 2 mm.
